Lothstraße Campus
The Department of Technical Systems, Processes and Communication is located on the Lothstraße Campus in the G Building (Lothstr. 34) and in the T Building (Dachauer Straße 100a).
First-year students’ trip in winter semester 26/27
The first-year trip will take place from 5 to 6 November 2026. Further information on registration, departure, the programme and accommodation will follow.

Learning and improving your language skills at HM
English, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, German as a foreign language, Portuguese and Turkish – these are the languages you can study at Hochschule München.
All courses are open to students from all departments at Hochschule München. They are free of charge and can be taken as an AW module (except for German as a Foreign Language) or as an optional AW module. You can obtain UNIcert® certificates in all languages except Portuguese.

Music ensembles at Hochschule München
Fancy joining a young, ambitious music ensemble? Hochschule München offers a range of ensembles, which can also be taken as an AW module .
Rehearsals take place at Lothstraße 34 in the main lectures hall in G 0.01/0.03.
- Choir: Wednesday, 6.45 pm to 9.30 pm
- Orchestra: Thursday, 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm
- Big Band: Mondays, 6.30 pm to 10.00 pm
In every ensemble, you can look forward to a friendly atmosphere with plenty of fun, alongside challenging musical rehearsals and fantastic concert experiences!
Every semester, there’s a rehearsal weekend packed with music and fun.
To mark the end of the semester, the choir and symphony orchestra will give a major joint concert at an attractive venue, such as the Herkulessaal in the Residenz.
The big band concert takes place at the university, but the band also performs at student festivals, on Marienplatz, at dance events and at various summer festivals.
